Just as an assistant helps you edit your outgoing e-mail, another person can help with receiving or editing your e-mails and appointments.

Outlook enables two important functions here:

Folder sharing
Calendar sharing

What follows are instructions for sharing and accepting.

Step 1:

Select the tab 'Folder' above.

Step 2:

Now, under the tab 'Properties', click 'Folder Permissions'.

Step 3:

An additional window will open. Here the category 'Permissions' has already been selected. Now you must click 'Add'.

Step 4:

Another new window will open. That window will display all your contacts from the address book. In the search bar above, you can easily search for a certain name. Select the desired name, then click on 'Add'. To finish the step, confirm by clicking 'OK'.

As a first step, click on the File tab.

Step 2:

Next, in the blue area, select 'Open and Export' and click on the last item, 'Folder of another user'.

Step 3:

A new window will open up. Here, enter the name of the person, or click the button 'Name', to open the address book. You can also set the 'Folder Type' that will be involved. Confirm the procedure by clicking 'OK'.

Step 1:

After logging in, click on the second symbol in the lower left, which represents a calendar.

Step 2:

Next, in the 'Share' tab, select the option 'Share Calendar'.

Step 3:

After that, a new window will open. Here, enter the name or e-mail address of the person with whom you wish to share your calendar. Furthermore, you can change the subject or the details.

When you’ve finished, click 'Send' and the calendar will be shared.

Step 1:

Click on the second symbol in the lower left, which represents the calendar.

Step 2:

In the tab 'Manage Calendar', click 'Open Calendar'.

Step 3:

A drop-down menu will open. Here, select the last item, 'Open Shared Calendar'.

Step 4:

An additional window will open. Enter the name of the person or click on the button Name in order to open the address book. To complete the procedure, click 'OK'.
