Together with the CampusCard, honorary persons also receive an e-mail address of the University of Passau (format: Given_name.Family_name@uni-passau.de). You can conveniently check your e-mail inbox from your web browser using Outlook Web Access. The URL is https://email.uni-passau.de.
Functions of the personalised CampusCard for honorary members
Your CampusCard has the following functions:
The CampusCard for honorary members can be used for payment in the refectory and cafeterias. Cash-to-card machines for topping up the catering balance on your CampusCard can be found throughout the campus (please note that these are separate from the printer-copier cash-to-card machines). The catering payments function is activated when you top up your balance for the first time.
The CampusCard for honorary members can be used for printing and copying services. Cash-to-card machines for topping up the copier-printer balance on your CampusCard can be found throughout the campus (please note that these are separate from the catering cash-to-card machines).
Every personalised CampusCard for honorary members has a university library user number printed on the back. This number enables you to borrow books and other items from Passau University Library. For more information on the special lending conditions for honorary members, please refer to the information sheet from the University Library. By default, the official university e-mail address is stored in the library systems and has the format Given_name.Family_name@uni-passau.de. However, it is always possible to provide the University Library with a private e-mail address and/or phone number instead.
The CampusCard for honorary members can be used to access the electronic lockers on the campus.
The CampusCard for honorary members allows them to use the sports facilities of the University of Passau Sports Centre. The rules and conditions for recreational sports for external participants apply. Please register for courses at the Sports Centre office. You will only be granted access to the training areas once you have registered for recreational sports ("Hochschulsport") and the respective sports course.
The CampusCard for honorary members gives them access to the underground car park at Innstrasse 27/29. The blue parking permit, which you were given, must be filled in and placed clearly visibly behind the windscreen.
