CampusCard for "Lehrbeauftragte" (sessional lecturers)
A special personalised CampusCard (with ID functionality) is also available to lecturers working for the university on a self-employed basis (sessional lecturers, "Lehrbeauftragte").
About the CampusCard for sessional lecturers
- Sessional lecturers should sign up for their CampusCard in the Stud.IP card portal. The type of CampusCard you will be issued must be validated at a validation terminal. The valid-until date is printed onto the card during validation. Your card is valid until the end date of the teaching contract.
- You do not need to return your CampusCard after the end of the teaching contract.
- Although you will still be able to use the payment functionality for the catering facilities and printer-copiers, the access card functions (for the Sports Centre, WIWI car park and electronic lockers) are limited to the term of the teaching contract.
- If any intervening periods between teaching contracts are less than 18 months in length, these functions can be re-activated easily by the Human Resources Division. Once the HR Division has processed the teaching contract, you can validate your CampusCard as before. If the previous teaching contract ended more than 18 months earlier, you will have to apply for a new CampusCard.
