Access via WebDAV
Overview
The behaviour is similar to that of normal drives.
Access is slower compared to the desktop application, and you must have a stable, permanent internet connection. The desktop application is more suitable for most cases.
If you have a stable internet connection, with broadband if possible, and the desktop application cannot be used (for example, if you’re using Linux).
Setting up and using WebDAV
- Right-click on the 'Computer' symbol.
- Select the option 'Connect to network drive...'.
- Enter 'https://filr.uni-passau.de' as the folder.
- (Optional) Select the option 'Restore connection when logging in' if you want Windows to restore the connection after restarting.
- Select the option 'Establish connection with other login information'.
- Click 'Finish'.
- Enter your RZ username and
- the password.
- You can save the data if you wish.
- Now you can access the network drive on Filr.
